Cub Scouts is a great way to make friends and build confidence in youth K-5th Grade! Through diverse experiences like camping, hiking, STEM activities, service projects, community events and more – Cub Scouts supports kids’ curiosities and helps them put their best-self forward. Cub Scouts is a volunteer organization that emphasizes safety, fun, and respect.

Scituate Pack 7’s Commitment:
- Pack Meetings (all the grades combined): typically meet the last Monday of each Month during the school year
- Summers are typically “off” except for special events or camping
- Den Meetings (each individual Grade-level): meet 2-3x a month based off each Den’s discussed availability. i.e. every other Sunday afternoon, or what works for each Den
- Larger Council Meet-ups (all the surrounding town’s Packs): announced throughout the year
Every Year includes these High-light events:
- Council-wide Chuck-Wagon in October
- Popcorn Fundraiser (The 2022 incentive included a sleepover on a Battleship!)
- Sleepover at the Museum of Science
- Pinewood Derby (March/April)
- Blue and Gold Banquet (birthday of Cub Scouts)
Pack-wide or individual Den events may include:
- Rock climbing
- Ropes courses at the Milton Scouts Basecamp
- Day hiking
- Nature walks with a different focus (i.e. safety, birdwatching, exploring different habitats)
- Historical site visits
- Baseball Games
- Games
- Skits
- Team building exercises
- Astromony watches
- Safety (i.e. winter safety and life skills)
- Knots
- Spiritual Reflection
- Pool Parties
- Wolf or Wildlife Sanctuary visits
